¡ô BRIEF INTRODUCTION
Oligosaccharide( Oligose) is liner or branch saccharide linked with glycosic bond from 2 to 10 monosaccharide units. There are many kinds of oligosaccharide sold, such as isomactooliogosacchride, soydeanloligose, stachyose, xylooligosacchride, galactooligosaccharide,oligofructose,chitosanoligosacchride,mannanoligosacchride ( Mos) , etc.
Mos can not only increase the beneficial Bifidobacterium, etc, but also reduce the harmful E. coli, etc, two-way regulating intestine and stomach. It also has extensive physiological functions, inhibiting blood sugar to rise, reducing blood fat, strengthening immunity, resisting & preventing disease, etc.
Konjac is the main raw material of Mos. Konjac is the perennial herb, rich in naturally unpolluted hemicellulose, mainly distributing in the mountain of Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou and the western part of Hubei, etc. Our company has cooperated with Wuhan Eastangel Bioengineering Co.,Ltd and Hubei University to carry on studies on mannanoligosacchride preparation by enzyme since October 1999. ¡ôPHYSICAL & CHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Mos is linked by mannan and glucose with ? ¨C1, 4 glucoside bond. The sugar molecule degree of polymerization is from 3 to 8. It is high functional oligoss with more than 90 percent purity and the highest grade in oligose famify.
The product is white or yellow powder, with a little sweet flavour and peculiar fragrance of konjac. It is convient to be applied in food process because of its low absorptive humidity capacity and low viscosity. It can resist acid and heat, relatively steady at Ph from 2.0 to 8.0, not decomposed when heated at 100¡æ centigrade for one hour. Its water activity is consistent with glucose. It will not freeze, stored in the condition of -10¡æ centigrade. Its calorific value is nearly zero, in other words, not producing energy. Neither it impacts the concentration of the blood sugar, nor increases the insulin level of the blood sugar and form fat sediment. So it is the best meals supplement for diabetes and adiposis patient, not having any side effect.

Remarkably grow Bifidobacterium. Mos has been found that its effective dosage is the least in the oligose at present.
